The Lake
« on: March 05, 2018, 08:46:27 am »
Does anyone know how much damage The Lake took with the recent warm spell?  This week looks cloudy and cool which is nice for March as long as there was something left to begin with.

The last report I saw is from Mar 1:

Rockytop: "Well, no big surprises here. There is some ice on the south end of Mt. Pisgah, but I wouldn't go near anything that's still hanging in there. Tablets, 20 Below, Crazy Diamond, are all there but you'd have to be insane even to walk below it. There is some reasonable looking ice in the shade on the northernmost Mt. Hor slabs. I did not walk over and look at it up close so it may have water running under it. Probably not worth the risk and smarter to go find some warm rock to climb. "

Thanks Ron.  That's sort of what I figured.  :'(
