Wavelength post crux bolt
« on: July 18, 2018, 08:42:00 pm »
Does anyone have any idea why the post crux bolt on Wavelength is missing its hanger??
It must have been removed on purpose. ::)

OOH.... Now that is weird! is the nut still on it, or is just the stud sticking out? Were you able to put a wired nut on it?

No nut on it.I just bailed to lunch ledge.
I Talked to Sam about it.
I hope to put it back on this weekend.
I also can't see how it could have come unscrewed and fell off on it's own.

Weirder things have happened... long way to go to steal a hanger don't ya think? Let's not grab our pitchforks just yet ;)

I got some extra hangers if you want to run up there with me sometime this week? Evening mission?

I bet it loosened during the winter.  Once the nut is loose it all comes apart quickly.

My friend Joe had never climbed the pitch before
so I figured why not him give it a go and put that hanger on at the same time ;).
We should have picked a different day as it was close to 90 degrees! Oh well...
