Shoestring Gully Conditions

Does anyone have any info on current conditions up shoestring?  Thinking of heading up Saturday or Sunday.

Thanks!

It looked as if it was full of snow. There was a picture in this week's Report. And FWIW this week it's going to be the same. We got 3-4" on Tuesday and more coming for Wednesday.

Hi everyone,
Iíll be travelling to NH April 6-8 and Iím wondering if there is any chance that Shoestring might still be in decent shape at that time. Itís been on my to-do list for a while...  If Shoestring is not in good conditions, I guess the best option is to go climb something in Huntington (again) instead?
Thanks!

That's a week from this weekend, so there really isn't a good way to predict. It MAY be still climbable, but there is no guarantee. It was 46 degrees up in the Notch today, warmer tomorrow with possibility of some rain.

I was there yesterday morning, 3/31 and I think ice will stick around for another week or two.  However, first 25' of direct finish has no ice and I'm guessing remaining will go away soon.  So we are talking about 2 pitch climb at this point.  You can alway head over to Willard after to make a full day.

Willard is also going fast... nothing left other than the Monkey Wrench, Upper Hitchcock and maybe Cleft. I was there on Tuesday
