Rock climbing partner in Aruba
« on: March 31, 2019, 02:16:45 PM »
Going to Aruba and looking for a climbing partner. I've been to the Grape Fields and the Rock is awesome. I would be available to climb from May 7 to May 12. If interested to meet up, send me an email.

Yes, sharp volcanic, limestone cliffs. There is one area with an overhung, juggy and in the shade climbs. Some routes are bolted but highly suspect considering it's 100 yards from the ocean. I've read that the top anchors are good and I've have seen people (locals) top roping off them. This cliff is about 50 to 60 ft tall and about 70 to 80 yards long. The only local hazards are the iguanas and donkey dung at the base of the cliff. The island has wild donkeys roaming around that side of the island. Last time I was there I did some bouldering there but would have liked to go higher. Worst case the resort I'm staying at has a climbing wall on the beach. Oh well. I hope someone will see this. I also posted on Mountain Peoject.
