Tuck's this weekend?
« on: November 15, 2002, 07:42:16 AM »
Anybody been up to Tuck's in the last day or two?  I'm wondering whether it will be worthwhile lugging ice gear up there this weekend or not....

Not sure about the nor'easter...last I heard it was going to just clip the northcountry but hammer the south....

Saturday was certainly the better of the two days!! Summited Adams, and not a drop, or a snow flake was seen, not to mention that it was as calm as could be up there!!

Man we got dumped on in burlington last night 9" of new snow!!!  We climbed odell's on saturday in real nice weather.  There was ice, but it was spotty with LOTS of water flowing.   The snow was real neve snow though which made the upper part of the gully real nice.

Tucks had nothing on saturday.  Odell's was really the only "climable" thing available in huntington although somebody could have sketched their way up yale or diagnol.
