Nice trail for dog walking?
« on: July 07, 2005, 07:04:01 PM »

Does anyone have any suggestions for a trail near Bartlett or Jackson where we can take our two labrador retrievers for a walk?  We visit frequently for climbing but have yet to find a decent spot to run the doggies around beforehand.  They are not especially calm or well-trained, so they need a little space...  :)

Arethusa/Frankenstein Cliff Loop/Diana's Baths/Kearsarge North/Black Cap/Doublehead/Saco Trail and many more.

Diana's is a bad idea if the lot is full... to many whiny people scared of dogs...

Consult the AMC White Mountain Guidebook for more ideas and detailed trail info on the above recommendations.
