With some ingenuity, those Cobras you are trying to sell will make the best steep ice leashless tools going.  I've done it to mine and a friends using Viper Fangs.  You only need to remove a TINY bit of plastic.  Don't remove too much!  A sliver in front of the bolt and a bit where the front spike is located.  Then bolt it together and squirt a bunch of 2 ton epoxy inside of the Fang in order to get a perfect fit, it will drip like mad when it heats up, so stay on it for a while.  Put the epoxy in by using a zip-loc bag with a pin-hole in the corner, (like a cake decorator).
