Willoughby

went up to Willoughby on Friday. the conditions were great & it was totally a bluebird day. there were lots of groups & guides and we did Glass Menagerie. most excellent. check out the shot on the Instant Ice Report popup. looks to be a good season up there.

BTW - I noticed that there were a couple of folks parking at the Boulders. this is a no parking area & you can get towed so be aware!

Plus, it jeopardizes access. Let's be considerate of the locals and park legally.

I was at Willo on 12/31. Smoky and dissonant day, only one other party there, very beautiful. We climbed Promenade which was TBI. Gent was looking a little old and haggard with a rock start, WW is far from touching. ROT is TBI but could definitely be done. Fun day!

Not at the printers??   :-/
I have a Christmas copy reserved already. Bummed to hear it's not even printed yet. I would like to get up to Wiloughby again someday. Climbed there 1 time on the tablets. It has been 10 years and I have fond memories of the enormity of the Ice there.
20 below has been a long time goal. Someday...
