Al,
Is that "the" Randy Roos in your band? The guy that played(plays?) the guitar with
the metallic fretless fingerboard?

funny how you would pick up on that. <grin> yes, Randy Roos, the one & only. he had the album (that's right it was vinyl) called Mistral waaaaay back when. he played that frettless guitar. the LP is a major cult collectors item now. I've know him for 20+ years. we played together in Boston and he did demos for me when I had this company in the 90's, Dr.T's Music Software. FWIW it's quite an amazing band. you should catch it if you get a chance. interesting jazz/fusion heads & then lots of improvisation. the styles are all over the place, but always modern & interesting.

Al,
Do you guys have a schedule posted anywhere? Are you playing this Saturday?

Can't wait to catch a show.

no schedule yet. working on it. we're just doing gigs here & there. probably play at Middle Earth soon. I'll post dates when I get them. once we get a site up I'll post that as well. we'll certainly have MP3's to d/l. we're recording everything.

BTW how do you know who Randy is. inquiring minds...

so, we played a set at Horsefeathers in North Conway last night. it was perhaps the best music I've played in 20 years. truly an amazing set! if you have the opportunity you must to see this band. it truly is a mix of groove, jam, dub, ambient, jazz and hip-hop. and last night there was even a bit of 60's Cream and Clapton thrown in, just for spice. <grin>

Al,
I caught Randy at Dartmouth college in 80-81? Anyway, a good 25 years ago or so.
It was an amazing show - I'll never forget it.
