Wildcat Valley Trail
« on: February 27, 2006, 02:22:25 PM »

Has anyone skied the Wildcat Valley Tr?  Is this trail doable with alpine equipment, or is it better suited for telemark?  How much crosscountry type skiing is necessary?  Any input regarding just how much of a ski trail this really is would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I've done it twice in the past and would recommend tele gear, there is too much flat stuff near the end to use anything but. It's a terrific run in new snow conditions.

Thanks RM!  I've got the hikeski bug again and have always been curious about the back side of WildCat.  Teles it is!
