The second pitch of Tropicana is equally good.  Just don't
lead it from the ledge at the end of the first pitch - lower all the way to the ground - and then have your partner follow and attempt to lower them all the way.  Unless you have a 70
meter rope your partner will not be happy....

Actually, I was at the gym Dover Gym last night and found out through the grapevine that Nadya had been running laps on Black Mamba to the first lower off; equally impressive!!!  That's one that I haven't jumped on (and subsequently fallen off) yet myself...

I remember the one time I was on Black Mamba - about 10 years ago with Steve A.  For whatever reason I tried to lead
both pitches as one - maybe the anchors weren't in after what is now the first pitch, or maybe it just seemed the thing
to do.  In any case I got through the current first pitch ok
then totally pumped out midway through the upper section,
hung on for about 10 minutes before giving in.  If I am allowed
to do it in 2 pitches now maybe I'd have a chance?  Nah - too
old.
