Climbing trips around the world
« on: January 06, 2007, 08:57:42 AM »

One helpful resource  if you are  planning a trip to climb outside of the US is the
U.S.Department of State, Travel.State.Gov website.
There is a lot of  the latest info  for Americans  who  travel  outside the US.
"Climbing" mag did their own piece on travel abroad recently but the Gov website is  right up to date!
see generally  the  US Dept of State website under  the travel  sections.

For example:
International Travel Home
Traveling to the Caribbean, Bermuda, Panama, Mexico, or Canada?
 International Travel Information
 Travel Warnings
 Consular Information Sheets
 Public Announcements
 Avian Flu Fact Sheet
 Tips for Traveling Abroad
 Registration with Embassies
 Plan Your Trip
 Regional Information
 Safety Issues
 Health Issues
 Emergencies and Crises
 Family and Children's Issues
 U.S. Embassies and Consulates
Travel Brochures
 Document Requirements
