Rumney Report

Ice at Rumney is looking good Saturday. Along with the many parties on the Meadows, Tim L. and Todd R. scouted out the Parking Lot Wall. On lead Todd found Centerline taking 10 and 13's for the most part with a solid 16 cm when needed. Rapped off Franky Lee for a possible Top Rope session but unfortunalty very wet and disconnected chandelier/mushrooms, a couple more COLD days should set this up even better. Scottish Gully was also in fine shape and some of the more obscure climbs with ice as well.

Walking over to the Main Cliff we found Learning Disabilites in solid 4 condition. Tim led in fine style finding the last curtain before top out holding all the cards. Tim as usual was able to draw another Ace and win the hand.

Word from parties up the road was that Selson Blue, Cave Route were also being climbed.

Climbed the left side of Franky Lee on Sunday the 28th. The center was very wet. The climbing was not that hard (you could stem in many places to take the weight of your arms and get a really good rest) but I still have a pit in my stomach from the lack of protection. The right side was very thin and poorly bonded. Hopefully things will just get better.
