Bird Ban... Rumney Summit Cliff?
« on: May 11, 2007, 04:31:37 pm »
I got a strange email that said the Main Cliff is open, but the Summit Cliff is closed at Rumney. Is this true? Any locals want to comment?

It's true. Check in the Events and Announcements forum for the word directly from Chris Martin.

I'm going to be up there tomorrow. Burgers, dogs and baked beans in the Main PL sometime between 5 and 6 PM.  If you are there stop and say hello and get something to eat.

Was a good meal after all!  The beens were home made by Mr Bill himself!  The food tasted excellent after a day of exciting climbing.

Just to let all know, there is going to be a place to eat right next to the main parking lot soon.   About 40 yards towards town on the left.  Talked to the couple who are opening this and it sounds like it'll beat all else in the area.  Seating will be outside only.
