it's been hot and very hazy over the past week. so much so that it's been hard to even see Mt. Washington at times from here in the Valley. several afternoons it's been so thick that cliff was obscured in the webcam view! maybe you noticed. that wasn't a dirty webcam bubble! the state of Maine declared the air to be unhealthy in southern & western Maine several times last week, tho the state of New Hampshire did not. hard to understand since effectively we ARE in western Maine!
hopefully this will change over the coming days as the humidity is palpably dropping and the weather predictions are looking pretty good.
