Just so you all know... I am going to change the default theme for the site to a more modern "curve" theme. It will be the one everyone uses from now on. It will make things a whole lot easier for me to maintain.

Hi, my name is Denis Pagé.  I'm living in St-Georges de Champlain
near Montreal in Québec.

I project to spend a weekend for climbing in Cannon Cliff and I would
like to have some informations about this area.

I knew that the Old man of the Mountain fell down, but could you let
me know if the "Lakeview" and "Wiessner's dike" are
still practicables and if those are still coted in 5.5 and 5.6 .

Thanks and regards,

Denis,
I read a note last Thursday that someone had left in the climber's sign-in box at the parking lot at Cannon.  The note said there was still much loose rock and debris, and some of the loose rocks are resting precariously on sandy ledges. :o
Apparently the party was forced to climb off route to avoid certain sections.  I walked under Lakeview, and what is visible from the ground looked ok, but I have not been on this route and cannot give you concrete information.

The Whitney Gilman is still nice......enjoy!
