Is There Any Ice?
« on: November 27, 2001, 11:16:11 AM »

Hey all -

With the recent warm weather, does any of the ice that had accumulated still remain in upstate NY , VT, or NH?   ??? ??? ???

I wouldn't think so. in the Valley it hasn't gotten below 40 in several days. everything I hear is that the ice is gone for now. we'll need close to a week of cold temps for  things to really form again. I'd concentrate on rock for  the time being!

It's all gone...I talked to a couple of folks who were up in Tuck's last Sat, and they said everything climbable was gone...and it's not supposed to get cold until next Sat...

really! now that's interesting. I've been looking around a lot & found very little ice if any in the mid-New England area. I'd certainly be interested in hearing where you are talking about.
