"bomb bay?"

Perhaps it's been asked before.

What is a bomb bay chimney?

Can only a chimney be "bomb bay?"

I've seen many at areas, but am unable to explain or identify one myself.

Thanks in advance

flairing and usually overhanging, so you feel like you are going to drop out like a bomb from an airplane. A good example at Rumney would be White Zombie at monsters crag

I would define a "bomb bay chimney" as any chimney that breaches a overhang or overhanging rock.  The aspect is such that when you are in the chimney the lower rock is undercut below you and the exposure to the ground below is direct.  Bomb bay chimneys I can think of are The Great Dihedral at Pokomoonshine, No Mans a Piot on Wallface- in the Adirondacks.  The Snaz in the Tetons.  The British Were Coming on Cannon.  What else?

Yes, your answer is more accurate, SM, overhanging, not just usually
