1) For how much the clarinetist practices, why do they never get better?
FYI it's actually an oboe, and I'm not sure oboe players EVER get any better! --al
There are so few oboe players because in order to tune two of them, one must be shot. No offense to any of the double reed players out there.
Wait...the prow frog plays the oboe??? X-ellent!!
There was one living in the horizontal crack just below the crux of the second pitch of the Saigons. I was placing a cam in there (the crack as been wet and seepy) when I notices a set of eyes looking at me. It definitely startled me, but I was careful not to disturb his hiding spot and used a larger cam out left of where he was.
he was 10 feet below the space station belay in the finger crack a couple weeks ago.http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Wildlife/Nongame/frogs/frog_graytreefrog.htm
A year or two ago there was a giant spider in that crack... I thought it was a recluse and didn't want to clean the gear my partner had place it was so close to it...
