These have been bothering me for some time now:

1) For how much the clarinetist practices, why do they never get better?

2) Where does the Prow Frog go in the winter?

FYI it's actually an oboe, and I'm not sure oboe players EVER get any better!

There are so few oboe players because in order to tune two of them, one must be shot.  No offense to any of the double reed players out there.

I guess its a miracle any sound comes out of them at all. It is a very improbable instrument. Sort of like a keytar, only requiring some skill to play.

Wait...the prow frog plays the oboe??? X-ellent!! 

So am I the only one who has seen the Prow Frog? He lives in a little hole on the last pitch. The line moves left a little above the last belay - and just before it starts to go straight up, there is his home. He was in there both times I went by there last year and was there again just a couple of weeks ago. He looks like a good-sized frog - like not something that could climb out and up.

I've seen the frog. At the Space Station belay. Lives in the crack. Yeah, I've seen the frog.

There was one living in the horizontal crack just below the crux of the second pitch of the Saigons. I was placing a cam in there (the crack as been wet and seepy) when I notices a set of eyes looking at me. It definitely startled me, but I was careful not to disturb his hiding spot and used a larger cam out left of where he was.

Not exactly what we were talking about, but there is/was a bat living at the midway rest on castaways this spring when I was working it.  Scared the crap out of me as I had my face to the crack and was wringling in a piece.

No the Recluse spider is at the north end were the tree stump used to be.

I got bit on the leg once by something? when dangleing my legs over a ledge and ended up with pretty decent necrosis but only about the size of a dime? could have been a recluse?
