Tripoli road open?
« on: May 21, 2010, 12:13:45 PM »
Hey,  I was thinking about doing a quick 4k  peakbag of  Mt  Osceola  in waterville valley  and the trailhead is on a seasonal  road.  I am wondering if anyone knew if it was open  yet  or  a number to call to see if it is?

Wohoo.   anyone been up   Osceola?  from the description it seems pretty moderate up to the summit..  we wouldn't do a loop. just out and back probably.

Totally casual.
You can bag both Osceola and  East Peak/Osceola in less than a day, if you wish.
Have fun.

Cool.  we'll probably play it by ear and do the main peak and then if it isn't too late and we're feelin good  jump over and get East also  only 2mi extra total so that's not bad
