Anybody know what's up with the thin crack problem at the junction of 16/302 ? Is it still ok to climb there ?

Do you mean the boulder at the junction of 3 & 302? used to boulder on it 25 years ago, but not lately. Pretty spicy little 
crack.

Ya that one. Guess I can't even remember roads anymore. It has a real thin crackand is below a small motel.

yeah that's it.
So far there isn't much I like about getting 'older', except maybe being a good source of information about climbing and hiking around the White Mountains. Trouble now is, I can't remember half of what i've done when someone asks...
Gotta be something better coming down the road...

Sorry for the bump from so long ago but does anyone know where is this exactly?
A friend of mine is coming into town for a wedding and says hes traveling light, just shoes and chalk. He asked me about bouldering in and around Crawford Notch.
I'm not familiar with anything in that area, can i get some help???

This problem is on the right at the traffic lights, kinda down in a bowl. Hard thin crack. Bouldering in Crawford-

A big boulder at the Willey's Slide parking area
another one up from Willey's and across the road.
The Ben wall under Mt Willard, just as the high way starts up (more of tr's though)
some decent stuff at the pond across from the AMC hut

TONS on the way into Sugarloaf
