Three Brushes, 5.5
« on: September 21, 2010, 09:21:56 AM »

Humphrie's Ledge, just uphill of the Life of Riley area.  Look for a cleaned off area with a bunch of left leaning cracks.

Climb the face past horizontals and left leaning cracks to a 2-bolt anchor not visible from the ground.  Look for a flake to thread halfway up.  60' 5.5

gear:

for the new leader:  small to medium wires, small cams to .4, tricams, 4' sling.

everyone else:  4' sling around the flake at halfway

nice one Chris. I did part of that in the spring and figured if it was cleaned off it would be a fun climb. always good to have some easy gear climbs out there.

We did it a couple of days ago. Interesting route...calls for creative gear rigging!!  :D
