Dogboy and I did a very cool link-up that we've done before that we both think should have a name. here's the description:
1 - head up the right side of Standard staying ~12' right of the gully that goes up into the cave. belay about 20' right of the tree with rappel rings that you use to get off Standard. (steep & committing - probably 4-)
2 - step right & climb a rock buttress (gear in an obvious horizontal), move past a pin on your left to turf. continue up and left to the trees and ledge where you belay on the right side of Standard. (M3, bring pins or small cams)
3 - climb a thin steep runnel to a ledge with a cave. climb a ramp on the right side of the cave to the trees. (3+)
4 - climb an obvious corner with a runnel and ice on the right hand face to the top OR step left and climb another mixed corner past some pins & rock gear to the top. (thin 3+ or M3)
give it a try & let us know what you think.
