Just so you all know... I am going to change the default theme for the site to a more modern "curve" theme. It will be the one everyone uses from now on. It will make things a whole lot easier for me to maintain.

Yellow Knife
« on: September 27, 2011, 10:13:47 AM »

Anyone done Yellow Knife "recently"? We started on what we thought was it ( angled wet-mossy start for 2-3 bolts, easy but sketchy ) but then - does it angle up left on a ramp for a little run-out and then up or does it go right up a face to what looks like new bolts and an anchor not listed in the book? Didn't see the big tree way up high directly overhead like in the book either.

Regardless, holds were breaking off, it was the end of the day and the confusion led us to bail ( bail biner ) and head out.

Starts is very mossy, gains a short left-leaning ramp then goes straight up as far as I can remember.

It's about a half-rope length climb (~15 bolts?), so hard to see the top from the ground.
