Anybody been up to texaco Slabs recently?  We drove by it on our way to Frankenstein yesterday, and it looked like the one main flow was finally starting to get pretty thick...any recent info would be much appreciated!

was at a party Saturday nite & some folks said that there was a flow to the left of the slabs that was happening. the amphitheatre hasn't been in yet.

Noticed in on sunday myself, seems to be the only thing forming in that area.  Would likely be a bit steeper than usual now, before it gets fatter (and thicker at the base).  My guess is the walk in would be a bit of a bitch until the snow gets deeper.  Even in good snow the last part of the hike is a slight thrash.

Sorta what I thought too...maybe it will be worth checking out this weekend, with the new moisture and the cold temps...?
