microspikes are a must on most trails right now.  :P

I wouldn't say must but they sure will make it much more easy.....

it looks as if everything is gonna be snow, at least from the projected temps for the next 48 hours.

I just checked Weather.com and they are saying late morning to mid afternoon the temp will be 34-35% and rain or freezing rain?

Anyone seen Remission or Repentance in the last day or two?

Climbed Repentance and Super Goofers yesterday... both are pretty bunk. Much of that big ice that is currently in Repentance is unbonded... tread very lightly! Big pieces falling out of it, though I've never seen it in such easy-to-climb conditions, and large sections of Super Goofers were calving off. I don't think they are long for this world if we get any rain, at least in my opinion.

we got a good 8 inches of light fluffy snow on Thursday. The prediction is for off and on flurries today moving into mixed stuff Friday night and Saturday morning, clearing off by mid-morning.
