Camden

Per request, current (1/14 AM) pics of Camden ice (err, lack thereof):

Everdrip barely living up to its name.

Barrett's.

(sigh)
Considering Grafton tomorrow (again); will post pics if I get there.

N.B.
A critter seems to have taken up residence among the large blocks below Everdrip, something I haven't seen before.  My first (optimistic) thought was a fisher, but I'm wondering about a 'coon?

Anyway, maybe remember he/she's there if you're out climbing this season.
Thanks.

Thanks for update.  Still looks like stuff is thin.  I was able to get out yesterday it felt good just to swing the tools.  Even if it was a wee bit cold :o

Conditions still dire (although some snow tonight might build things a little).

Blue Vein and Varicose Vein.

(Not sure what's up with the fixed line; it's not El Cap, for crying out loud.)

Dragon's Teeth, not very scary.  Behind it, Dragon's Butt with its rock finish is doable.

On the upside, today was a great rock day.  Fireman's and Natural History were warm and dry, and I dulled the tools on more Ocean Lookout lichen and choss.

Cheers.

^^
Tinker knows scrappy's the norm around here.

We've been starved of any significant precip, and from now on, the bigger lines will get increasing sun.  Even with snow, any complete lines at Barrett's this late in the season may be ephemeral.

Building at Barrett's and Everdrip.

Maybe some of the local heroes out today will chime in as to quality of the ice.

Who's actually climbed any of this?
First two are in the same notch, with mostly rock for another pitch or two above.

I've seen the next flow before, but it quickly becomes snow-covered and it's hard to remember it's there.  There's also a wide/thin sheet to the right.

Kinda looks worth a looksee if the current building continues.

Things took quite a hit this week.  Barrett's looked pretty much wiped clean; things in the woods were severely undermined and running with water.
