« on: January 01, 2012, 07:59:34 PM »

Hey,

I'm looking for a top rope climbing partner for Carabiners in New Bedford.

My climbing ability is 5.8/5.9.

Please shoot me an email if you're interested - khmanchester@gmail.com

Thanks.

Kelly, if you're near Wareham and you want to climb great routes and learn how to do mixed climbing (with our ice tools) and won't ever need to depend on a belayer, come to the Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham. I work there Mon- Thurs 5:30 to 8:00. By the way the wall is 37 ft tall and we have routes from 5.3 to 5.11 and most of them are non height dependent and gauranteed to give you a good pump.

Hey Pete,
That's great to know. Thanks. I'm hoping to find someone for Carabiners because its right here for me. But maybe ill look into wareham as well. Sounds like a good thing over there, the last thing I need is another gym membership!

Thanks,
Kelly

Kelly, no membership needed. Day use pass is $ 8.00 for the rock wall only. Better routes than Carabiners, especially in the 5.8 to 5.10 range.

Hey Kelly

I go down to Carabiners ever once and a while and need a partner sometimes. I'm climbing at about the same range as you so could possibly be good match. How often do you go?
