It seems such a tragedy that after escaping death on Everest he would die this way.

Mr Hall's lawyers have released a statement saying the mountaineer contracted mesothelioma after helping his father build cubby houses from asbestos cement sheets in the 1960s.

They say that our sport is risky but not as risky as working for corporate America. I wonder how much profit was in those sheets of asbestos? May Lincoln climb to even higher heights in his next life. Condolences to his family and friends that have been left behind.
