2 slab climbs at Found Ledge?
« on: April 07, 2012, 07:13:02 AM »
The other day I noticed 2 new (?) routes on the far left end of Found Ledge. They are on a small slab that's 70' left of the last climb on the left end of the Lumberjack Wall. this is just left of the little gully that you go up to set up a toprope on the Lumberjack climbs. There is a rap station with a piece of static line and rings setup on a tree above. Neither of these are in the Webster book, nor does Jerry Handren know about them.

Al

They sound like these two routes that Chuck Woodman and I climbed in November 2010 http://www.neclimbs.com/SMF_2/index.php/topic,5619.msg39477.html#msg39477. I guess they don't have names so how about No Shake Left, No Shake Right?

I guess that I didn't bring a camera that day as I don't have pictures.

wow Jack, I had forgotten about that... thanks for the reminder. we found the fire pit at the top as well. and yes, the views are truly beautiful. it would certainly be a beautiful place to hang out for a night. I'm sure that the stars and moon would be amazing.

I will add them to the database.
