Thom Pollard will be giving a presentation on May 5 in North Conway NH at Kennett High School for the Upper Saco Valley Land Trust. He will will detail the journey he made with journalist David Brancaccio and environmentalist Conrad Anker to the Himalayan Mountains in northern India to document the rapid retreat of the Gangotri glacier. As the source of the holy Ganges River, the glacier beckons religious pilgrims from across the world to bathe in its icy waters. His presentation will show never-before-seen clips of the expedition, in which he met with mystics, yogis, scientists and pilgrims.

It's important that you attend....can't beat the price (free)... Live music begins at 6, presentation at 7pm, Kennett High School's Loynd Auditorium. Donations will be accepted.
