Coors disses The White Mountains?
« on: August 15, 2012, 11:01:04 AM »

I saw this billboard on top of Bertuccis in Central Square while bicycling to work. It was pouring out so the pic is a bit dark.

Not that I like the right wingers who own Coors, but I think you are reading too much into the billboard. There is nothing there that I can see that rules out "our mountains" as being American mountains in general, being "real", "manly" and all that. You know, rugged people, clear water, etc.

I would love to paint "too bad your beer sucks" on that board.

Ooh, I think you are correct. How could I miss that?  :-[

And, yeah, I take back my previous arguement. Rockies it is. And they can keep them (except the Bugaboos. I liked them)

"Our mountains"???  I was unaware that anyone could own mountains ..... But then I am sure just like a regional water bottling company here in N.E. the Coors people are likely stealing water from watersheds born from those very mountains, so I suppose maybe that's their point???   :(

1. Cause the ABV's as hard as our grading
2. Cause we always runnout
3. Cause a typical day in Crawford makes Ouray feel like Tahiti.

A day at the Captain  makes the Diamond seem like a stroll
