old trad
« on: September 18, 2012, 02:45:52 PM »

Look the weather is better here...in the yos.... than at cathedral ledge. Just finish fairview dome ascent and can tell you are enjoyable it is. Great weather and partner.

We begin in a cold weather and finish in the sun. Two other parties began later and past us at the top. Real good guy enjoying a day in a cliff with friends. At the top, they told us the route and s we were and the descent, they leave a flag to show us the direction to be at the car before dark: two beers.

Is it what you have in mind when you talk about old trad mentality?

Almost no greater kindness than strangers leaving strangers beer after meeting during a climb. +1
