Far southern tip of Madison, just west of "Purity Spring Resort"...

Didn't get a photo but if you know the area you might know... got a few nice looks at it while returning from Country Side Butchers on Rt 153...

BTW... Country Side Butchers is awesome if you're a meat lover... stocked up for the winter....

I have looked at that too Dman.I'm not sure if that is the one that had some routes on it then stripped due to landowner issues.

Bald Ledge. I'm not aware of any routes on it. You might check with Kevin Mahoney as I think it is on Purity Springs property.

I seem to remember my ex-wife saying something about there being a herd path/bushwhack trail to the top of that one.  I *think* there are some geo-cache's there, so if you have the ability to follow a GPS you can find the coordinates online (geocaching.com) and hopefully find a semi-easy route to the top.

Can't offer any more insight than that though.  I've seen it, not been there.

Where is Country Side Butchers?  I live in Effingham and travel 153 to Conway somewhat often.  Can't say as I've seen that place....

Cornish, ME. Really good prices on meat & fish.

$7.99 tenderloin

$4.99 ribeye

.99 chicken quarters

2.99 bone in chops

9.99 sea scallops

5.99 haddock...

I brought a cooler and stocked up for the winter.... they run ads on the back of the daily sun....
