could someone who has actually done the upper section please go over the description for Lowther's route that's in the Routes section on the site. I need to confirm the description for the new guidebook.

Hey Al thats pretty accurate. you head up and left with some easy but sort of runout moves then up to 2 bolts, with a tricky well protected crux, and then you have a great belay spot at the top of the cliff (2 bolts).
