$200 for a pair of rock shoes?  I sure hope not.  Time to stock up or already too late?
I no longer see many good shoes under $100 these days (I bought both Katana Lace and Vapor V for < $90 a pair).  I think price inflation has already happened.
Will be a boon for resolers.

They just need to bring some Italian craftsmen over and make them here.

Amen! Let's bring Heinz Mariacher over here and we can set him up with Peter Limmer! I can't do $200 for shoes. Evolv may be the choice from now on if that is the case.

man, i've just been trying to wrap my head around 150-160.  I'm a young(er) climber and my first shoes were muira's at maybe 110.  Then realized 5.10's were under 100 bucks.  $200, f*ck it.  I'm gonna climb in my sneakers.

It makes another good argument for bare footing when you can.
