These have had a bike clipped into them maybe 5 times. I purchased them to take my three bikes to Tucson for winter training in the desert about 5 years ago. My car then sat in a carport for 3-4 months before i drove it back east in the spring. I then took these racks off my car and they have sat in my basement as you see them ever since. These are as new as a used set of racks can get. Hard to find even one scratch or blemish on them.

I had them on a VW Jetta. The bases will fit any car but you need to buy a $75 clip kit to fit your car. I can give exact length of the bars to those interested.
