pretty icy up there now. possibly Repentance tho. maybe something on Humphrey's. not really the best time for rock climbing in general ya know... as far as Cathedral, you should keep an eye on the Webcam. it will pretty much give you the scoop, especially in the morning when the sun is on the face.

You won't be getting barber wall or thina air for a while now. Cathedral isn't a good winter crag.

Ethereal area, Hump, Albany are better bets

wouldn't be worth the effort to get there, and it is still somewhat shaded even though it faces south. Humphrey's would be a good alternative for sure. A little ice above, so obviously be aware of those dangers, but it looked fairly dry yesterday on my way by.

Longstack Precipice faces south and dries fast.  Awesome winter rock so far.
Hey Pancakes!!! Have you been there recently? Lots of dry stuff? Thinking about heading out there Saturday with the warm weather and all...

Thanks man!!! I first went to Longstack late in the season and fell in love!!! Been itching to get back!!! hoping Winter Classic is winter friendly:) sounds like there might be a chance!!!! 8)

yeah, but that was of last year.....i too am interested if anyone has been there recently to rule out seepage and ice situation above.  has anyone been on rock anywhere lately?  its 45 today!

Climbed routes on the left side of Darth Vader at Rumney on Saturday. Couple wet spots but definately climable :)
