Best candy bar/energy bar for a really cold day?

I like Snickers, but when they get really cold they are hard to eat.

the basic ClifBar is the best I've found. I also carry a baggie with pepperoni, nuts and chocolate covered espresso beans. I keep them in my interior jacket pocket.

I like shot blox. When frozen they are like hard candy but soften quickly when you eat them.

Snickers work much better with some Jameson

These are great in the cold:

EMS usually has them in stock.

I also like left over pizza from the Moat or Flatbread

Pure chocolate is something I keep handy in the winter. I have to say though: I really like gels. Hammer gel is the best tasting and they are not full of junk. I've never had one freeze yet.

Not a candy bar, I know, but a block of pepperjack and a sleeve of Saltines hits the spot.

Recently, I had a Met Rx bar (apple crisp I think) that wasn't too bad.  My only gripe about that was the price.  I think it was four bucks, which is insane for a bar.

Amazon.com has Met Rx Big 100 Colossal Bar bars for $21/dz or $1.75/bar, not too bad for a 5 oz bar.
Free shipping too for a box of Apple Crisp.

Love hammer Gel for my longer bike rides.  i have a few of the 26 serving jugs around.. fill up the flask 100cal/oz

from my backpacking stuff.
Pringles are 140ish cal per ounce and come with their own crush resistant package.   Little debbie Nutty Bars  pack pretty well, pop tarts,  pb filled pretzels (130cal/oz), fig newtons(50-70 cal per newton..)

Clif double espresso gels, Lindt dark chocolate truffle balls, and a ziplock of pepperoni and cheddar cheese.

Since it is a little hard to get seal blubber around here, ...bacon, not overcooked, so it is still a little soft. Fat, protein and salt. I like P & J too.
