I assume we have lost lots of ice in the last two days.  If you have been out in NH please report on the conditions...even a roadside driveby would be appreciated.  Am I stuck working on the house this weekend or what?

Thirty-six hours above freezing won't be a deal breaker.  It's COLD now and will be all weekend.  I bet it's going to be fantastic!

Went by N. End today... Thresher looked OK from road, slab has a river on it but looked to be hanging in... pillars survived... heading to Frankenstein tomorrow... will try to get some photos though I am sure everyone and there brother will be there

After my day at Franks today I drove up through the notch. It is amazing how much ice has reformed in Silver Cascade and Flume, though they are still torrents. A few days of cold will make them awesome with no snow.... As has been mentioned everything on south face of Willard is toast... LHMW looked good to me... and that and Cleft or Upper Hitchcock may be my destination tomorrow as part of a Ice Climbing 201 course... maybe see ya up there...
