Ok, I know I'm a relative noob, but what the heck is the " large wedge-type anchor" in this eBay listing?

I wondered if it was a snow anchor, but thought it was somewhat odd that it was in with some climbing nuts.

NO- the stoppers are the wedge shape anchors... the other thing is a bent bit metal used by crazy people in snow  ???
