yeah, its turning into a scurge. Everyone wants there 15 min of fame, be dead, mamed, or if they are truley lucky alive. looked like a pretty stiff and brittle finish. Was that Ben Nevis Scotland???

On the flip side, it is neat seeing that perspective on routes you haven't done. I saw a good one of the Nose a while back. Of course, that sort of ruins the experience when you actually get there, but it is what it is.

They are definitely a flag; the experience of climbing is still so new, one wants to relive it as much as possible, show friends, etc. It's all good, whatever. Just don't fall on ice.

I think they're great! My son gets killer MTB videos with his, and a friend set one of our Gunks climbs to some DMB that was super fun. Compared to the lame assed video I got going MTB  with a hand-held a few weeks ago they are far superior. If you both have one it's crazy fun!

I think they pitched off that for fun. How could you get the screws in and then blow the rest?
