Climbing is too diverse to try to rank people.    But probably well above you ;)

I agree with him.   Especially when conditions, technology etc are different.  Could he have climbed 5.15 like Ondra if he had the training, gear, and motivation to do so?  maybe..  Could Ondra do 8000m peaks.. maybe but he's not motivated to try.

I don't put much weight in what Dave said. he got asked a question and had to come up with something.. in his "era" and genre of sport and bouldering..  top 5 is likely true.

I agree.  I also wonder where the next set of great climbs will come from.

Dave Graham is absolutely still one of the top climbers we have, respect man! Remember, he has put up 5.15a sport FAs, maybe not 15c, but besides Adam Ondra's two so far, who else has? However in bouldering there really is only Daniel Woods and maybe Nalle Hukkataival that have had greater success with the hardest problems of today, worldwide. And, in addition, his motivation and prolific FA record have inspired many climbers of all ages and especially young climbers today to go out and get at it. Climbing history will show him in a very favorable light, I am sure. Just look what hes done for New England climbing alone. Just today he has recorded another v15. Ridiculous. This is at the cutting edge of bouldering, no? Not to mention that this is a guy who has climbed hundreds of 5.14s also.

he climbs little rocks. Tommy Caldwell and wife,  Uli Steck both world class sport and boulderers that also get it done on very big rocks. there most be others who are world class and well rounded.
