camping?
« on: March 05, 2013, 10:46:03 PM »

didn't see a forum for this.  anybody know of a nice campground in the ossipee or tilton area's? anywhere really near the whites,  i have a 2 yr old and a 6 day old so a family orientated place for a trailer would be cool.  looking for a seasonal camping on a lake with decent prices close to the highway or climbing.

There is the Crawford Notch Campground. It's just at the start of the notch on the Saco River, near Texaco. I took two of my kids there just tent camping and it was very nice. There were plenty of trailers there; you can even rent a Yurt!

Campton campground, exit 28 on 93 is a great place that never seems to be too busy.  Sandwich Notch is about 25 min away, no approach and a nice river to take a dip in.
