Pinnacle Gully
« on: March 27, 2013, 03:00:17 PM »

Hey !

I started ice climbing last year. I did a few top roping sessions and I was hooked. This season, I got my own gear and started climbing more often. I top roped some 4/4+ and started leading easier stuff (Landslide Gully). Then, I felt confident enough to try Pinnacle Gully. I took a shot at it 2 weeks ago but had to turn down after the first pitch. I went back Tuesday, the weather was on our side this time and we made it to the top ! I'm pretty happy to end my ice climbing season like that. I never taught I'd be able to do such route !

Wow-those photos are stunning!  Nice day and great shots. I especially like #7 (looking down at second) and #10 (climbing the snow field with ice flow in the background).  Very nice!
