This is kinda rare, I’ve never seen “High” in April... think I might be skiing on Thursday...

-2 and 85 mph winds gusting to 96 this morning on the summit.  Spring has sprung a leak.

April 1988 Mt. Washington received 111 inches snow, 27 in. in one day. Ski traversed Presi range in May! Outrageously good skiing still in June.

Ski season is far from over. Cannon and Wildcat are unbelieveable conditions right now! Let it snow! :)

Well skiing was so-so... winds had battered everything up high pretty good. Hit trail at base of Cog at 9am, summited at 11am, skied a lap on East Snowfields (hard windpacked), traversed over towards Lakes, traversed top of Ammo (some pockets of powder, more close to the ridge, joined back up with Cog at Jacob’s and skied best snow on right side of tracks all the way past Waumbek. Car to car 3 hours... was nice to go my own pace today...
