Deer's Leap Closed?
« on: May 14, 2013, 12:29:06 PM »
I heard rumor that Deer’s Leap in VT was closed due to Perigee Falcon nesting. Is that true? Is it the whole area or just the upper cliff leaving the main cliff open?

Does this mean you're climbing again?

Assumeing this is the Deer Leap in Bristol and not the one in Killington.

I hear you Scott. Working full time again is definitely denting my climbing time.  Nevertheless I'm going to try to make the effort to come up and get the guided tour of Deer's Leap, the one by the brewery!  Or perhaps head on up and poke around together at the "secret crag" in the NE Kingdom.  Although I think I heard it was included in the recently release guidebook.  So I guess it isn't a secret any longer.
