Camping Memorial Day weekend

What would be my best bet to get a site for the weekend near Conway?  Arriving on Sat night.....

I think there is/was a site also farther east on Dugway rd ?? nearer Woodchuck ??

Preferably cheap.  What usually fills up?  Does Blackberry crossing fill up quick?  Or Fourth Iron?

Either hike to an obscure spot and obey Forest Service rules or plan on being annoyed because you got turned away from a mob scene of fat tourons in Winnebagos. Not exactly an unpopular idea to camp in North Conway on Memorial Day weekend.

I don't see why not if you can find a good place to pull the car off. I wouldn't park at the top tho. I think that there is a pulloff just before the first hairpin on the left. you could probably walk back in there & setup a camp. it's too bad that Town Hall Road has been gated since Irene. that was a great place to camp.
