Ropes shrink with use, so if they cut emí a little long thatís great. In the case of doubles/twins you can also VERY easily even the ropes out yourself if it really bothers you, which apparently it would bother some of you pretty bad...

Itís like sending back a 20 ounce steak because you ordered the 16 ounce...

How hard is it to cut extra off a rope? I think youíre all blowing this outta proportion... Not the OP who had an honest question, but all those who think ďI should get what I pay for and not 10 feet extraĒ.... modern day consumerism at itís best....

It looks like a potential lawsuit to me: the strain of unknowingly carrying 10 extra feet of rope, the mental angush from the confusion caused, and all this while engaged in a life threateninfg activity. Those ten feet could be the cause of extra fatigue and ultimately failure.  :-[

it's not consumerism or BS  having two ropes that should be the same length creates problems in my book.. if they are not the same length, then

send them back, maybe quality control missed something else  :P

Who doesn't own a knife and a lighter? Waste of postage sending them back. "Maybe they missed something else". Jesus that's paranoia, they cut em' too long, big deal. Alright I'm bored.

had a partner chop a brand new half rope with the ice tool on the 1st day of use. had to cut the brand new rope and do a few years with a short rope in the mix. that sucked. this set the blue rope is long. NBD :-*
