Worcester area partners
« on: July 09, 2013, 01:55:25 PM »
Just moved to Worcester.  Looking for partners at Central Rock Gym, or for trips to Massachusetts crags, New Hampshire, Maine, or the Gunks.

I am eager to check out the central mass crags, like Farley, etc.  I am also fairly familiar with some of the popular NH areas and am happy to introduce folks to them.

Trad, sport, ice, alpine.  I lead trad to 5.9/10, sport to 5.10d, and can generally follow up to 5.11.

My work schedule is irregular, and weekdays and weekends are both possibilities.

Join up with climbworcester@googlegroups.com

They are fairly active - lots of inexperienced folks as tends to be the case with Internet based groups but some more experienced ones too.  It's a way to get started.

Take a drive up to Crow hill - just north of Worcester (Leominster state forest). A gem of a gritstone crag.
